CUSTOM TINY CHIBI ADOPTS FOR $3 - $5 ONLY! [OPEN - PAYPAL PAYMENT ONLY!]

[CUSTOM ADOPT 4 U] Super Tiny Chibi Collection Set by msaishakristine

The payment will vary depending on the detail of the character and how it was created - but do know it will never exceed $5 as this is intended to be sold for a cheap price set as much as possible - just so you can get to know and how I do my art, adopts and creations as well.

How It Works [ART REQUEST PROCESS & BUYING / PURCHASE OF THE ADOPT] :

- Basically, you can request what character you want for me to create (it could be an oc - something you just invented or whatever) the request are free. If I think I can actually do them - I definitely will do the art creation for that character (even if I haven't drawn anything like it - I will still try and see what I will come up as a form of experience on my part as well).

- Once the character creation has been done - it will be posted live on my deviation BUT just because you requested the character - doesn't entitle you to actually own them - you need to purchase it from me to have ownership to each of these adopts  - for you to use them or edit their design and create as your own, etc. As long as you have not paid for anything - I have full rights over the character design and I can sell them to other artist who are interested to get that specific character as well. So please, keep in mind.. you are risking your requested character to be used by ones who will buy the adopt.

- PayPal payments are only ones that I accept. (no holdings for 48 hours - payments are to be paid within 24 hours after I send you the details regarding how to purchase it - I'll most likely ask for your paypal email address and send in an invoice for you to pay).

- Whether you have requested for the character or not - you are allowed to buy and purchase the character. (First Come First Serve)

UPDATE ON THESE CHIBI ADOPTS:
- 4th & 5th SLOT are LEFT OPEN for (character request!)
-  ALL OF THEM ARE AVAILABLE TO BE OWNED (just newly created!) if you like them, please do buy them!

PRICES FOR EACH CHARACTER ADOPTS:

my own art creation selling for $4 via Paypal.
- CHARACTER 2 - my own art creation selling for $3 via Paypal.
- CHARACTER 3 - requested by: RyouichiDemonRebon (but bought or owned yet, thus it is available to be purchase by others - this adopt is selling for $5 - due to its added details, etc.)

So I just wanted to created e journal entry for the art class I am taking (instead of uploading the assignment one by one - didn't want to spam everyone - plus it would be a great idea to compile it just in case anybody else might find it as a useful resource as well).

Big thanks to the seniormentors group for giving me this opportunity to improve and learn more about my craft. They usually would ask what you need - what you desire, your weakness and strength and develop a lesson plan for you, etc.

I am pretty excited.. but as for my first lesson and assignment it was all about color theory - the basics and all that boring stuff - but still, very essential.

There are 4 artworks that I need to accomplish for this assignment on color theories:
- Black and White
- Primary Colours
- Secondary Colours
- Complementary Colours

(if you'd like to see each of the progress and result on how I work on each of this assignment - please do check back on this journal from time to time - I won't be creating a new journal entry - but instead - will be updating this and uploading all the works as soon as it was done - including notes, etc - just so it can be compiled without any confusion.

FIRST - BLACK AND WHITE.

I have just finished working on this one - it should be the easiest but I still find it hard to work on. I kind of think.. knowing the theories.. and working on them via application is a different thing. Like, I know the concept.. but for some reason.. it doesn't really work the same way... as I wanted. So I guess..

I don't know how the process of blending should be like.. (so if anyone wants to teach me and help me out - I would really appreciate it - I do have a Clip Studio Paint, Medibang and Adobe Photoshop) I usually prefer the coloring on Medibang (though I usually treat it almost the same manner as Clip Studio).

Assign1w1 by msaishakristine

It started from a sketch, then a line art - coloring (and my own version of blending - not sure if that is even correct or not, lol!) (it actually ends on the 2nd image..) the 3rd and 4th image - is the result of me playing around with photoshop (trying to blend it more - if possible).

3rd image - got screwed. I tried to do so many stuff it just ended up with that, lol!

I have undid that and settled to what I feel most confident in...

which is the 4th image.

I have based this on quila111's sample for the assignment which is this one - for the black and white.
Screen Shot 2016-04-07 at 2.01.47 AM by msaishakristine

though - its entirely too far from how I did it.
which is this one...
eeeek.

Screen Shot 2016-04-07 at 2.03.06 AM by msaishakristine

Before I proceed to the 2nd part of the assignment. I'll probably wait for quila111 feedback on Medibang as she did mention - she wanted to try and figure out the process on the blending, etc.. once I got that.. I'll probably redo the black and white before I proceed on the 2nd part of the assignment - just to give it a go.. and see how it would look like..

PS. I really suck at coloring and blending its frustrating lol.

/EDIT: APRIL 8, 2016

I am currently out of town right now with my family but I did brought along my laptop and tablet and some sketchpads - just in case I might doodle or so while on the go or so.. the night before I slept - I decided to worked on again with the previous assignment and guess what? This time - I'm like super happy with the result - I do think it can still improve.. I guess practice and more practice will make help me out more too. I used to think since its black and white its pretty easy since - we use just black and white.. when I was working on some highlight and shading. I did some observation on the base photo from quila111 - which made me realized.. there are a lot of colors here.. different colors of black and different off-white colors as well which is entirely what blending is supposed to be.. but it just gave me a feeling that its still harder than when you worked with colors idk.. just a thought but i guess i can verify that as i go with part 2 of the workload.. but for now - here is the result and a bit of notes here and there with my redo on the black and white assignment on color theory.

Art1assign by msaishakristine

Seee.
Seeeeee.
It did had a big difference from the first one I posted right? Hihihi!

Okay. That's it for now.. I need to study and do a lot of reading and observation for the 2nd part of the assignment!
Then a bit of trying out here and there.. hopefully, I will be able to upload and edit something on this journal tomorow for part 2 of the assignment!
*pretty excited hihi*

/EDIT: APRIL 11, 2016

SECOND - COMPLEMENTARY COLORS

I decided to worked on the complementary colors first - though I was a bit stuck.. since from what I have read so far - it kept saying its something that is opposite of the color wheel. I asked myself.. so.. it only always have to be 2 colors only? None of the articles even on google has mentioned anything on that note. For this artwork - I worked on pink shade and something of blue green shade - I wasn't really satisfied with it though I know it should have been the purpose of the assignment. I can't help but tweak a lot here and there (all noted on the notes on the image below) which ended with this one.. it is a bunch of pastels but not limited to only two colors - idk if I did this correctly but I really like the outcome though I kind of wish it has blended out more (but already did a lot of blending it still looks this way lol so idk if its okay or what) I wonder if this has defeated the purpose of the assignment - but I did started out the work based on the complementary colors noted - I guess.. I just added a lot of things here and there.. it still has the pink, green and blue feel though.. but I am not sure. I guess I'll have to wait till I finish every assignment to get some feedback from the teacher. Will work on the 3rd one later on. (been so busy.. didn't had a lot of time to worked on the assignments to finish at an earlier date).

THIRD - PRIMARY COLORS

(not much to say at this point except the fact I guess this is my favorite work among the last few I created...) all notes are noted at the image below.

/EDIT: APRIL 11, 2016 - 8:15 PM

FOURTH - SECONDARY COLORS

Even though, I knew - I could have just directly chosen the color (on which if primary colors are mixed in with) for this artwork - I used a bunch of primary colors and directly mixed them out to get the secondary colors. As per usual - played with blending, airbrushes, blur and the hue as well. I guess its my favorite part of the process (the hue part, lol!)

Untitled-1 by msaishakristine

Question included to be answered for this Assignment:

1. Which of the 4 colour schemes (or the challenge) did you find the most enjoyable to work with? Why?

To be honest. I am not sure.. but if I have to choose one, I'd probably would love the Primary Colors part the best. That i the part where.. I kind of have this idea where this is all coming from. I guess it is also the part where in I have realized.. I think I did the other part on incorrectly - maybe I should have done this, etc.. it gave a sense of directly with the colors.

2. Which of the 4 colour schemes (or the challenge) did you find the most difficult to work with? Why?

It would have to be the Black and White part - oddly as that may seem. I guess a lot of people would find it the easiest one and I guess, I thought so too. When I got the assignment, I was too fixated on the black and white artwork color on the flower in the sample.. that I ended up having that concept - I should create something like this... so instead of working on black and white as a whole.. I ended up thinking about how can I have that kind of effect the same as the sample? It kind of stressed me out. I do feel I did learn from it - or maybe a different way to blend colors as a whole - but I kind of feel the concept was something I've missed out - which I only realized later as the assignment ends.  I guess, it was not the colors I am being focused on in reality.. its more of the blending as a whole.. the practice.. and the execution.

3. What's one thing new you learned while completing this assignment?

I did understand the basics at the very least and understood colors much more so than before - I kind of feel it gave me a bit of confidence with coloring as well.. even a little but most importantly.. I feel it was a big improvement - when it comes to the blending and such.. it's one of the things I find very much worth it.. from artwork 1 to 4th - I kind of felt that there were progress being achieve as I go deeper and deeper to things. Though of course, I'd still appreciate to know and be clarified on a lot of things by the teacher to gain some verification as well.

So as you may all know.. I have been really working so hard in improving my art. As much as I'd like to get all advance with things digitally.. I started spending time with my hands on drawing.. which I've been seriously bad at. I believe I have created bits and pieces of full body figures recently.. I have to say I am able to do them easier now and a lot faster than before - time wise. At the very least it did't took me 2 hours to do one figure lol... unlike before, haha!

As mentioned on my previous updates and journal - not every tutorial works for me and in one way or another.. I still do believe that but I guess from practicing it I kind of develop my own method here and there.. Today, what I did was to follow along a tutorial then re-create them by myself without reading and scanning through the steps.. though I try to track here and there if I am doing things correctly.

Untitled by msaishakristine

As soon as I've noticed a bit of improvement.. I started wanting to work on different poses. I have been practicing myself but have not really found any solid result when it comes to poses.. so for today, I tried working on a real photo I just googled... I have noticed it the last two times I tried sketching a real live photo - I kind of felt they seem to be a lot of easier to draw rather than following tutorials. I was pretty clueless how I am going to be working through with it... but surprisingly pulled it off. At the very least I can see a form of pose on my drawing which doesn't look weird at all than most poses I usually draw..

Untitled by msaishakristine

I haven't finished it.. but little by little I do kind of see where things are going. Again, I still prefer looking through an image and drawing it from there rather than starting with random shapes.. though, I do believe they also help.. but probably not the most important factor for me at this point. I usually draw poses that are just walking or so.. this was the first time I tried this ballet kind of pose.. at first I wasn't sure.. but I just drew whatever (You should have seen the sketch version, it was a lot more horrendous, lol!)

I actually find it very funny.. there are just times where in I try my best following through a tutorial but it would end up looking weird and an utter failure - but when I don't do a follow through on a tutorial and do it by myself.. somehow, it still looks terrible.. but I find it much do-able and better than what I created when I worked on a tutorial. I've always wondered why.. but I still have no idea up to now.. >.<

Untitled by msaishakristine

This is one sample of that - me following a drawing on a tutorial (digitally).  It totally looks off from how it should look like, lol.

Untitled by msaishakristine

This is me - trying on my own with no tutorial whatsoever. It still looks weird.. but I kind of somehow like the proportions here better than the other one I created.. haha!

Oh well. Just wanted to share this with everyone.
Right now, I am a bit thrilled on working through the ballet pose artwork.. hopefully, it will look good - then maybe I can create something out of it soon for another dose of collection on my portfolio. Hamtaro Mouse Emoji-02 (Kawaii) [V1]

Okay. So Yesterday.. I was working on a sketch drawing for a full body figured anime girl character. It was so hard and toxic for me since I usually do my drawings in stick figures. (Yeah. Like those games at hangman - kids used to play.. not sure if they still do now - in this generation, lol!)

Before anything else.. (since I am in the mood to blab on my journal, haha!)
Let me show you some of my previous drawings. I am not sure when I drew them (but I can be sure it should have been around February 2016 when I started drawing again.. I was not working on Anime Characters but.. really into Fashion Illustration back then - but as you can see.. my drawings are still somehow anime-looking, lol! So yeah. These not that old.. but seriously - be warned, it's not very nice to look at, lol!) I know - it seem like a kid's drawing!!! I pity myself whenever I see this but for some reason, I haven't really threw it away yet, lol.

Img 1038.jpg by msaishakristine

Now.. this is something, I am not really proud at.. not that I am very proud of my works now.. but - it is better. Trust me, when I did these drawings, I even had references and guidelines, lol! (which actually later on led me to the fact that maybe we all draw and learn in our own way - what works for most might not work for you.. guidelines are awesome.. but for the most part, whenever I do guidelines my drawings ends up in big disaster more than I can imagine, lol.. don't get me started with the hair - it's one of my most hatest part to draw - until today! I really suffer with face and eye features whenever I try to draw a whole body figure. Agh. Haha!)

At that time, I still have not realised.. so I kept going on and on from one tutorial to another with anatomy guidelines, etc. (it was only just recently that I realize looking at references are better for me than working on guidelines - but I am sure it would be helpful for a lot of people and maybe with me in the future - just doesn't work for me at this time.)

After awhile.. I tried to draw by just looking at the images and developing the drawings and curves by myself - (i didn't even used a pencil - and went ahead using a pen since it was just a random doodle anyway - didn't care much at all..)

Untitled by msaishakristineImg 0982 2 by msaishakristine

Lol. Still terrible. But hey - I think it was better than the previous drawings, lol.. I didn't even used any guidelines at all.
I know I always complain about my drawings and people will say - nah, you do great.. but seriously.. most of my drawings especially in the past were like this - how I can not be frustrated, lol! For the most part, except for the last two drawings, I usually spent a great amount of time in working on the drawings, etc.. takes up much time than usual or an average drawing should do. This is one reason why.. I'd want to draw but give up on drawing. I usually go with Digital Art but I find it still crucial for me to draw which is a pain for the the most part.

I also tried drawing something earlier - giving Iduna-Haya's suggestion a try. After looking for references here and there.. I have chosen this image: Sailor Drama Senshi Stock

I realized, I never drew a character or figure looking up - so I had a tough time trying to sketch this one - but I still tried my best - to make it... a bit better?
 Untitled by msaishakristine

I lack space on my notepad (since I didn't used my sketch book for some reason) so I just skip the other areas.. this is what I came up with.. (I never improve with the hair, lol..  it still looks the same as I did before, sorry!) It was my first time working on a real life photo - so I was surprised that I was able to at least draw the figure a bit.. though, I messed up big time when it comes to the head and face. I wonder why.. When I work with whole body figure - it's always that I either mess up the head - or mess up the body. So frustrating.

I am already surprised I was able to create this one from scratch!
I was really proud of this one - because it made me felt it look normal - not the best but - - at least, average looking.

Anime Guy Original Character Protagonist by msaishakristine

Though when I started re-creating a female character from my incomplete previous work.. I ended up with this as an initial sketch.. I am not sure how many hours I did this.. but I sure spent a lot of time - and its still all messed up. I really don't usually give too much focus most of the time with initial base sketch that I do.. because I usually will still fix it up once I put in clothes, etc..

My Drawing on a Female Body Sketch by msaishakristine

So after coming up with the clothes to use, etc..

I have decided the character to have this kind of sketch figure - at least.

When it comes to female characters - I tend to based them on fashion illustration artwork rather than the anime-type kind of look - I dunno why.. lol. I probably fancy the outfit? Haha! So yeah. I never put eyes or any other facial features whenever I work on a full body figure - just too hard for me and I'll surely mess it up.. I kind of feel the head is too small and I had to draw it all up on the computer instead to not messed it up, haha!

WIP Anime Girl - Re-Creating to Full Body Figure by msaishakristine

After working on my line art..
Here's how it looks like now..

WIP - Anime Girl - Re-Created Full Body by msaishakristine

I am still not finish with the hands since I am not sure how will I work on that.. I need to draw it first.. so I just drafted an initial shape.. Idk about you but I am giving this character like an illusion of her - walking in a runway that sort of thing.. At least, that is just the pose I am going for.. (mostly the reason is just to cover up a lot of mess in the sketch, haha!) It's actually not finished yet - just wanted to show the progress I have done so far..

When I think back on how I usually draw.. from the drawings I have now. I can say I have improved.. (except for the hair.. which I will probably never understand.) Makes me wonder.. if I will still improve at all.. or is this the limit of what I can do. Hmm..

Gah. I have wasted another amount of time writing this stuff, lol!
I should probably go head and finish the line work - get myself a rest.. then study the anatomy iHopelesss gave me - and practice more drawings later on. See Ya! :jumpingbye:

I am totally not good with working on guidelines and for the anatomy.. so I just went akong by working on the figure itself. Please don't ask me how long it has taken me lol... as it took me many hours to actually finished this one and I have lost count! haha!

Not the first time I tried sketching a whole body figure but this is the first time I an seriously working on it. (with hands and feet). I know its bit that proportioned and all but trust me... I was pretty OC in the process akready and this is the best I can do and came up with..

I chose this kind of pose since I am going for a lady-like type of chaeacter... I always prefer legs together than making then separate. So yeah. Still needs a kot of work l am contented on the bosy figure for now. I think I might go wth clothes first before the head and all that - I am pretty weird to work on those before the head and hair haha! Well whatever goes. :pMy Drawing on a Female Body Sketch by msaishakristine
